Rain Rain Go Away!!

Hoping for better weather as the week goes on!  It can’t rain forever….right?

This week we have the 2nd Annual Russell Mill Regatta on Tuesday.  Boat building is from 12 – 4 and the races will start at 4.  You must bring your own cardboard and duct tape!  Teams can be 2-4 kids but your boat must fit at least one member of your team for them to race across the pool.  This was such a fun event last year, the kids had a blast.  We could use some volunteers!  Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c054ca4ad22a6f58-2021

Our second swim meet of the season is on Wednesday.  The pool will close at 2:30 for warm up and will be closed for the duration of the meet. We will have ice cream cookie sandwiches for sale at the meet.  They are the same very famous sandwiches that are available at the July 3rd fair on the common.  First come, first served!  $5 each, we only have 100!!

Finally, on Thursday we will be welcoming Abby Segal to the club and she will be teaching some lucky kids magic tricks.  There are only a couple tickets left for this event!  This event is at 1:00 on the clubhouse deck.  Purchase Tickets Here

We still have some tickets available for Curious Creatures on July 19th.  This event sells out every year so be sure to buy your tickets early.  Purchase Tickets Here

House Keeping Items

Regular Hours – Mon-Fri – 12:00pm -8:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 11:00am – 8:00pm.

Entering and Exiting the Club – This cannot be stressed enough. The driveway closest to the clubhouse is the entrance. The driveway closest to the dumpster is the exit. Please inform your guests of this before their arrival.

Check-In Location –  upon entering the club your family needs to check in with the greeter.  If you have guests there is a $5 per guest fee.  Please be prepared to provide the greeter with the names of the members checking in daily.

Glass – Glass is not allowed on the pool deck. We have plastic cups in the office if you forget yours. Broken glass that gets in the pool is a serious situation that at minimum results in closure of the pool for multiple hours to ensure proper removal. In extreme cases, drainage is required

Trash – Please help us keep the club clean. We operate with a small maintenance staff. Please assist us by using the proper trash receptacles. If you notice one is full, alert a staff member.  Please take a moment to scan your tables, under your chairs etc. for trash before you leave.
